Denver was covered in a foot of spring snow early Monday while tornadoes and severe thunderstorms threatened five states, NBC News reported. According to The Weather Channel, “The [tornado] threat area today goes from southern Michigan into Minnesota and then southeast into Missouri." Meanwhile, The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for most of northern Colorado and parts of southern Wyoming into Monday morning.
