The Bruce Gradkowski experiment blew up in more ways than one in the Oakland Raiders' 33-17 loss to the Miami Dolphins.
Not only was the Raiders' offense completely ineffective with Gradkowski back at the helm, but Gradkowski aggravated his old shoulder injury and appears unlikely to play this week at San Diego.
"Gradkowski reinjured shoulder and looks like Campbell is starting again next week," the San Francisco Chronicle's Vittorio Tafur reports via Twitter.
The injury is particularly frustrating because the game was already a blowout when Gradkowski took the hit in question. The injury occurred on the Raiders' final play from scrimmage.
Gradkowski will have an MRI Monday to detemine the extent of the damage, the Oakland Tribune reports.
Joe Kukura is a freelance writer who blames Gradkowski's injury on the cheese at Whole Foods.
