Jazz Grind Out Win, Snap Warriors' Win Streak at 14

BOX SCORE

OAKLAND -- The Warriors have made it clear the final three games of the season are rehearsals for the playoffs. That's how it looked Monday night and it cost them their win streak.

Playing without Klay Thompson, the Warriors were outlasted 105-99 by a Utah Jazz team that came into Oracle Arena with three injured starters on the bench and still had enough to snap the Warriors' streak at 14.

Stephen Curry scored a game-high 28 points, continuing his hot shooting of late, but sat out the fourth quarter.

Kevin Durant, in his second game back after a 39-day absence with a knee injury, totaled 16 points, a team-high 10 rebounds and a team-high six assists -- the exact line he posted Saturday in his initial return. He played 32 minutes.

The Warriors (66-15) entered the game with an 8-9 record when they make fewer 3-pointers than their opponent, and this was such a night. Utah was 12-of-34 from deep, the Warriors 9-of-23.

Veteran point guard George Hill scored 20 points to lead the Jazz (50-31), who are battling the Clippers for homecourt advantage in their upcoming first-round playoff series.

Curry's line: 28 points (9-of-16 shooting from the field, including 6-of-8 beyond the arc, 4-of-5 from the line), four assists and four rebounds. He played 30 minutes and was plus-9.

The Warriors never again tied or led, getting as close as two (96-94) on a James Michael McAdoo 3-pointer with 2:09 left.
