Dallas Tops the Nation in Smartphone Users

SOASTA, Inc. conducted a Harris Interactive survey of ten U.S. cities and found Dallas leads all cities with 76 percent of respondents saying they owned and used a smartphone.

A cloud testing company says its survey shows Dallas has the highest mobile device adoption in the country, beating out San Francisco -- the Silicon Valley home of Apple, Facebook, Twitter -- which comes in No. 6.

Big D even beat out the Big Apple which came in last on the list.

Dallas also leads all American cities  when it comes to owning and using a tablet, while Atlanta had the fewest tablet users.

SOASTA's survey also found that 97 percent of smartphone users in Dallas were likely to delete or uninstall mobile apps they purchased if they had frequent bugs or crashed constantly.
