Jack Dorsey is back, and he's mad?

Jack Dorsey, the former CEO of Twitter who was credited with the idea for the microblogging service thanks to his obsession with instant-messenger status updates, is back in San Francisco.

And he may be looking to prove that he's more than up to the task of managing a successful startup after having been fired from Twitter as CEO last year.

According to his own Twitter stream, Dorsey says that he's found office space shortly before noting that he was outside another San Francisco startup, Zendesk.

The company is reportedly looking to enable small payments between iPhone users, plus some secret sauce that would be Twitter-like but focused on a different industry.

Leaving Valleywag, the Silicon Valley gossip rag, to wonder if Dorsey, spurned by Twitter, "is acting out a revenge fantasy."

Jackson West figures Dorsey's plan seems to hold potential for more immediate profitability than Twitter.
