25th Anniversary of California Coastal Cleanup Day at Fort Funston on September 19, 2009
The Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy is the non-profit partner of the Golden Gate National Parks. In a collaborative effort with the Presidio Trust and National Park Service, the Parks Conservancy hosts volunteer programs and events throughout the Golden Gate National Parks. Join us for California Coastal Cleanup Day, one of the nation's premier volunteer events dedicated to the marine environment. Since the program started in 1985, over 800,000 Californians have removed more than 13 million pounds of debris from the state's shorelines and coast.
