Opportunity Fund has been helping people follow theirs dreams for 20 years. The company started in 1994 with the hopes of just getting to a million in microloans to help better Californians. That goal was reached in four years and they began to set and accomplish new goals for the next 16 years.

Today, Opportunity Fund lends out more than $2 million every month and help people save over $1 million each year. These are loans to women selling tamales and hot dogs from carts on the street, to family-run restaurants and dry cleaners.  These are savings accounts for single moms who seek to build stability and strength for their children, and  for students who will be the first in their families to graduate from college.
