Help spread the joy of reading to kids across San Jose by volunteering in this years Read Across America Day! Elementary schools around the East San Jose area are looking for volunteers to spend an hour or more of their time by reading books to children in honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday.

 Dr. Seuss epitomizes a love of learning and by celebrating his birthday schools all over the country send a clear message to children that reading is fun and important.

When: Monday, March 3, 2014

Time: Varies time slots available

Participating Schools: Aptitud Community Academy at Goss, Arbuckle, Cassell, Cesar Chavez, Dorsa, and San Antonio Elementary Schools in the Alum Rock Union School District in East San Jose.
