A Minnesota native and University of Wisconsin graduate, Laura comes to the Bay Area after spending three and a half years in Boston.  There she worked as a sports reporter and anchor at New England Cable News, and Comcast SportsNet New England, covering everything from a Red Sox World Series win, to a Patriots Super Bowl title and perfect regular season, to the Celtics’ run for their 17th NBA banner.

Laura also hosted “Celtics Now”, a weekly magazine show on Comcast SportsNet, during the team’s championship season.  While in New England, Laura worked in radio as well, doing the “sports flashes” and hosting shows on WEEI, Boston’s sports talk station.

Prior to her time on the East Coast Laura began her career in Rhinelander and Madison, Wisconsin.

Laura has won several awards for her work both in Madison and Boston, including an Edward R. Murrow Award for her behind the scenes look inside Fenway Park’s Green Monster.
