Alice in Chains is back with new lead singer William DuVall in place of the late Lane Staley to perform at The Theatre of the Living Arts in Philadelphia, PA on September 5 at 9 p.m.

THE RETURN OF GRUNGE: It may not be the 90s and Lane Staley may have passed on but that doesn't mean long hair and flannel still can't put on one hell of a show. Alice in Chains will bring the grunge movement back to life at the new and improved Fox Theater tonight in Oakland at 8 p.m. and tickets are still available.

PARTY EARLY, PARTY OFTEN: The 28th annual San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival doesn't start until next month but that isn't stopping organizers from throwing a party. The launch party for the festival will take place tonight at 8 at 111 Minna Gallery ironically enough at 111 Minna St.
