South Bay BART Cashed Up, Not Ready to Ride: A couple key bodies are on...

A couple key bodies are on board for the BART to San Jose: the California Transportation Commission and the Metropolitan Transportation Commission have just dumped $239 million and $91 million, respectively, into the South Bay BART's treasure chest. Carry the one, and that's over $320 million for the 16-mile transit line extension, which will need a total of... $6.1 billion.
