Settle in for a Soggy Weekend

There’s plenty to do outside this weekend in the Bay Area but you might just find yourself hanging out indoors by a cozy fire as the first storm of the season gets ready to dump some moisture on us.

Storm one is still set to come in Saturday, but it is not the big one. The North Bay, Marin County should get the most Saturday. The heaviest downpours in Marin County -- Sausalito, Tiburon or San Rafael -- should be between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. We will get between .25 and .50 of rain by Saturday afternoon but there We will have on and off rain all day all over the Bay Area though.
 
Storm two arrives Sunday with a lot of rain. It will be warmer, mid-60s with rain from Santa Rosa and places north receiving the most. Expect two to five inches in the North Bay Sunday, with the hills getting the most. The lower areas of the North Bay will get about two inches of rain and the East Bay will get 1 to 1.50 inches Sunday. The South Bay will get .25 to .75 Sunday. The Peninsula will get .50 to 1 inch Sunday.
