Tasty Words: SOMArts Cultural Center hosts their monthly party Feast of Words: A Writers Potluck tonight. Described as "part potluck, part inspiration and part quick-write," the event gathers local foodies and writers to come in and share their favorite dishes and stories, partake in an on-the-spot writing competitions and eat all the food they can handle. Tickets are $12 at the door, and event at 8pm.
Mad Men: Newly renovated Euro hangout Mad Dog and the Fog hosts their twice-weekly trivia night tonight. Besides endless bragging rights for landing the top score, teams of various sizes compete for both free booze and some cold hard cash -- hey, $30 is better than $0. The free event starts at 9pm, but booths are known to fill up by 8pm.
