Top SF Chefs Teach One-Off Classes

SF Chefs, the second annual jam-packed week of wine, spirits and food, comes to Union Square in downtown San Francisco with a number of events taking place August 1-7. It's a few weeks away, but this month take advantage of a slate of preview demonstrations and classes with notable local chefs at the Ferry Building.

The series kicked off last week with a family pasta making class led by Locanda's Anthony Strong and Slanted Door's Charles Phan, and continues July 16 with activities including a peach course from La Victoria's Luis Villavelazquez and Tell Tale Preserve Co's William Werner, a salumi workshop from Perbacco's Staffan Terje and former Oliveto chef Paul Canales on July 23, and a (sold out) tequila mixer on July 30.
