Victim's Family to Public: Look at Sketch

The family of an East Bay man deliberately run down ten years ago is hoping the anniversary of his death will generate new leads in the unsolved case.

Police say on December 17, 1998, Richard DeVecchi went to check out a report of a prowler outside his family's business in Berkeley.

That prowler, behind the wheel of an early 1980s model Cadillac, hit the gas and plowed right into DeVecchi, killing him.

A witness, who helped police create a suspect sketch, described him as 5' 11", 185 pounds.
