6/17: Salsa, Cocktails, and Bingo

These events will make your Wednesday evening a night to remember

SPICY SALSA: If you've ever wanted to learn how to salsa, now's your chance: a free beginner's lesson will be given at 6pm, followed by dancing and a live band from 6:20pm to 8pm. The best part? It all happens in the middle of  <a target="_blank" href="http://">Union Square in San Francisco.

BINGO WAS HIS NAME-O: This ain't your grandma's bingo. The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are cross-dressing nuns that describe themselves as  "the 'Sound of Music' meets the 'Rocky Horror Picture Show'." Their 50's sock hop bingo is sure to be a riot, and they're giving away $4,000 in cash and prizes to boot. The party starts at 7pm in the Green room at the San Francisco War Memorial Opera House. Tickets are $20 to $40.

BLUES ON THE STREET: You don't need to buy a concert ticket in order to hear fantastic tunes. Musician Lara Price will be singing the blues from 5:15pm to 7:15pm on Post Street and Market Street in San Jose.

GIRL'S NIGHT OUT: Sip complimentary cocktails, try free products, and go shopping at Shecky's Girl's Night Out. The event goes from 5pm to 10pm at the Herbst Pavillion at the Fort Mason Center in San Francisco. Tickets are $15 in advance, $35 at the door, and include a free goodie bag.
