Firefighters on Friday battled a small brush fire that broke out in San Bruno Mountain State and County Park amid dry conditions.
The so-called Bruno Fire in northern San Mateo County burned 6 acres and was 80% contained as of Saturday morning, fire officials said.
"This is an unusual time of year for a wildfire," Cal Fire CZU tweeted. "This is a STARK REMINDER that we need to be prepared!"
No structures were threatened and no injuries were reported, according to the North County Fire Authority.
Dozens of firefighters responded to the blaze. Crews will remain on scene through Saturday.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
