A 30-year-old man was arrested last week for allegedly exposing himself to passersby in Mountain View, police said.

Jesus Santos Bastidas, a transient, was arrested after officers responded around 1:30 p.m. Thursday to the area of Stevens Creek Trail and Middlefield Road on a report of a man exposing himself to someone.

Bastidas was soon found nearby in the 300 block of Easy Street and was detained. Police said he matched the description of a suspect in an earlier case on Dec. 9 in which a victim reported being sexually battered by a suspect who exposed himself to her.

Bastidas was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of two counts of indecent exposure.

Mountain View police are concerned that other people were victims in the case and are asking anyone who has information to call Detective Marco Garcia at (650) 903-6356.
