Famous SF Stripper Carol Doda Busted For DUI

Legend of North Beach club circuit hit parked car outside eatery.

The world's most-famous exotic dancer, Carol Doda, was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving in San Francisco on Saturday, according to reports.

The 76-year-old Doda, who put the Condor Club on the map with her first-ever topless show (replete with her augmented 44D "bustline," as the San Francisco Chronicle delicately put it), crashed her 2006 Acura into a double-parked car near the 5A5 Steak Lounge on Jackson Street, the newspaper reported.

Doda had to be "helped to the curb," according to the report. She told police she'd had "a couple of drinks" at Gino and Carlo in North Beach and was "on her way home."

Police took her to Mission Station after she failed to make it through a field sobriety test for fear that she'd "fall and hurt herself."

Once at the station, police told her they wanted to give her blood and breath tests. Doda replied that she "didn't understand" -- so Doda, the current proprietor of a Union Street boutique, will likely lose her driver's license.
