Man in Custody After Putting Gun, Bullets on Bank Counter in Fremont

A man on Wednesday placed a gun and a box of bullets on a counter at a bank in Fremont before being "shooed" away by employees and eventually taken into custody by authorities, according to police.

The incident happened at a bank in the area of Fremont Boulevard and Mowry Avenue, police said.

It is not clear if the man demanded any money.

Police arrived and found the man, who they said did not comply with officers. He was eventually taken into custody with the help of a K-9.
