Muni Using Buses During Downed Power Line Repair

San Francisco Municipal Railway officials are using shuttle buses in place of some Muni trains as crews work on repairing some downed overhead power lines.

Muni officials say underground service was knocked when a train hit the power lines late Thursday morning.

Some underground Muni trains are now operating through the downtown area but a spokesman for the agency told the San Francisco Chronicle that portions of two lines - the N-Judah and J-Church lines - probably won't be operating until Friday morning.
