Oakland Mayor to Hold Conversation About Animals

Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf will hold a conversation Thursday evening about options for strengthening services and protecting animal residents of the city.

The meeting will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Temescal Works at 490 43rd St. in Oakland.

Following her remarks, the East Bay Animal Political Action Committee will hold an endorsement meeting at which time other mayoral candidates will address the group. Members of the PAC will then vote to endorse a candidate for the November election.

The forum is open to everyone, but only PAC members will vote for the endorsement.
