A suspicious device was reported Tuesday morning in Hayward, police said.
Hayward police issued an advisory at 11:58 a.m. about the device found in the 25800 block of Gading Road.
The Alameda County sheriff's bomb squad has responded to help in the response. Residents are advised to avoid the area during the investigation.
