Traffic Collision in Alameda County Leaves One Dead

One person died Sunday night after a traffic collision on Crow Canyon Road in unincorporated Alameda County, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The first report of the collision came in at 8:21 p.m. at 10895 Crow Canyon Road near the intersection with Bollinger Canyon Road, CHP officials said.

At least two vehicles were involved in the collision, CHP Officer Damian Cistaro said. The collision has shut down Crow Canyon Road in both directions and CHP officials do not at this time when the road will reopen, he said.

Medical personnel pronounced the person dead at a hospital, he said.
