San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office deputies are searching for an inmate reported missing from his work crew.
Corey Hughes, 27, was last seen Monday afternoon in the area of Interstate 5 and Country Club, authorities said. The Sheriff's Office was notified Hughes was missing at 1:30 p.m.
Hughes, who has skeleton-like tattoos on his face, was sentenced on a weapons charge and was scheduled to be released in February.
