
A preliminary 2.5 magnitude earthquake struck Wednesday morning near Santa Rosa, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The quake, which hit at 8:17 a.m., was centered about 9 miles northeast of Santa Rosa, the USGS said.
No other information was immediately available.
