A preliminary 2.7 magnitude earthquake struck Thursday morning just south of Napa, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The quake rattled the North Bay at about 7:01 a.m., centered about 7 miles southwest of Napa and 9 miles northwest of Vallejo, the USGS said.
