Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on eastbound Highway 24 near the Caldecott Tunnel Thursday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, they responded to a road rage incident, which led to a freeway shooting at around 3:30 p.m.
CHP officers then responded to the scene and found a victim stopped on the right shoulder of eastbound Highway 24.
According to CHP, the victim's vehicle sustained multiple bullet strikes. No injuries were reported.

Traffic was impacted for over three hours, while the shooting investigation was being conducted, CHP officials said.
Authorities said the shooting remains an ongoing investigation and they are still looking for a suspect.
