Livermore Brush Fire in Altamont

A brush fire burned at least 8 acres Wednesday afternoon at the Altamont in Livermore.

Motorists traveling in the area were told to expect delays on westbound Interstate 580 between North Flynn and Greenville roads while firefighters battled the blaze.

The vegetation fire was contained at around 3 p.m.
