The president of the Oakland Chinatown Chamber of Commerce said he was attacked while walking down the street Thursday night.
Carl Chan said someone pushed him to the ground while walking on 8th and Broadway.
He was able to snap a picture of the person who attacked him and police were able to make an arrest.
No additional details were immediately available.
