San Jose police are asking the public for help in locating a suspect in a hit-and-run collision that killed a woman on Friday.
A vehicle struck Zi-Qing Zhao, 67, as she crossed the street in the area of Tully Road and Brahms Avenue around 5:25 p.m. Friday, according to police.
She was taken to a hospital after the collision but died there.
The suspect fled the scene and has not been located. Investigators believe the suspect might have been driving a white 1997 to 1999 Toyota Avalon and that the vehicle sustained front-end damage to the passenger side.
