Some residents in Santa Rosa woke up to broken glass lining the street Sunday morning after the rear windows on five vehicles were smashed overnight.
The vehicles that were targeted were parked on Jennings Avenue near Marlow Road or on Peterson Lane near Guerneville Road.
Police, who did not specify how many people may be behind the crime, suspect large rocks were thrown through the windows.
