An 83-year-old man who went missing in Fremont on Sunday has been found safe in Newark Monday morning, according to police.
Jack Long had last been seen at about 9 p.m. Sunday in the 700 block of Old Canyon Road and was considered at-risk.
Police did not release any other information about where or how Long was found, but noted he was a longtime Fremont Police Department volunteer.
