Crews closed a section of road in Santa Clara on Monday after a garbage truck slammed into a power pole.
The accident was reported about 5:50 a.m. in the 1000 block of Walsh Avenue. Crews closed Lafayette Street from Walsh to Central Avenue.
The driver was OK after his truck ended up in a grassy area of an office park.
