Cow Palace Gun Show Ban Bill Moves to Next Step

A bill banning gun shows at the Cow Palace is on its way to the State Assembly after it passed in the Senate Wednesday night.

State Senator Mark Leno reintroduced the measure in April as part of a plan to help control gun violence in the neighborhoods around the Cow Palace.

People who live in Daly City believe illegal gun sales happen in the Cow Palace parking lot whenever the gun show is in town.

The show's organizers say it is not true and the event abides by California gun laws.
