A 3.7 magnitude earthquake struck near Yountville early Sunday morning, jolting people out of bed in San Francisco.
The United States Geological Survey said the quake, which struck at 1:55 a.m., was centered about 4 miles away from Yountville, 5 miles away from Sonoma and 7 miles away from Napa. The USGS first classified the temblor as a magnitude 3.8.
Reports of the quake started showing up on Twitter and people in Napa, which is located near Yountville, as well as those as far away as San Francisco and Berkeley said they felt the quake.
Several people on Twitter said the quake felt bigger in Yountville and Napa.
There were no immediate reports of any damages or injuries.
