A San Jose man arrested in his home Nov. 22 during an investigation into a pipe bomb found at a nearby high school is expected to appear in court Wednesday on an unrelated charge.

Andrew Page White, 36, who was arrested at an apartment complex just a few blocks from Oak Grove High School after an hours-long standoff, is scheduled to be in Santa Clara County court at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday facing a probation violation.

White initially was scheduled for a hearing Tuesday.

Police said several homemade explosive devices were found inside White's apartment at the time of his arrest.

White, who is being held in the Santa Clara County Main Jail on a no-bail warrant, is a possible suspect in a pipe bomb incident at the Oak Grove campus that prompted an evacuation and bomb squad response on Nov. 19.

Records show White has a criminal record, which includes obstructing an officer.

Anyone who has tips or video surveillance of the area is urged to contact Detective Joel Martinez (408) 464-8379. Information can be submitted anonymously at (408) 947-7867.
