Those with multi-million dollar hopes might want to think about playing Mega Millions on Tuesday -- the jackpot now stands at $400 million.
At one Milpitas gas station, where somebody won $425 million on a Powerball ticket in February, lottery players are hoping luck can strike twice.
The owner's son, Parmeet Singh, said because of the previous lottery win, they have been getting calls from as far as Los Angeles asking for the exact same cashier who sold the winning Powerball ticket to sell them a Mega Millions ticket now.
He also said business is way up at the Dixon Landing Chevron as customers stare at the huge check on the wall, coming from places like Gilroy and San Francisco in hopes of striking it rich.
And Singh's father, who is still away in India, got $1 million for selling the winning ticket. The previous win has people coming back for more in hopes of luck striking twice.
"It does bring me back here," Milpitas resident Brad Layse said. "I go to Chevron and I go here for my lotto ticket, mainly. I don't go anywhere else. This is basically the place I go."
Singh said in a statement they have not changed their lifestyle at all after winning $1 million.
"A million can go faster than people think. So we're maintaining our lifestyle as it was before we won, though we do plan on reinvesting into our business."
Lottery players said winning has nothing to do with odds but incredible luck instead. The odds of winning are 1 in about 259 million.

The drawing for the $400 million Mega Millions jackpot will be held at 8 p.m Tuesday.
