A 1-year-old boy who reported missing on Monday has been located Tuesday morning, according Oakland police.
Hasani Chandler went missing on Monday in Hayward, police said. He was considered at risk due to his age. Chandler was dropped off with a baby sister and was last seen at a McDonald's parking lot at 355 West A Street in Hayward around noon to 1 p.m.
Chandler's mother was arrested Tuesday morning on an unrelated warrant, according to police. Her name has not been released.
Four people showed up to an Oakland police station with Chandler, one of whom identified herself as Chandler's "auntie." She told NBC Bay Area said he had been with "friends." The boy was later taken to a hospital as a precaution.
Police are interviewing the four people who brought Chandler to the police as they investigate what happened when he went missing.
No other information was immediately available.
