A police officer shot a 19-year-old man in Vallejo Thursday.
Officers think the man might have been involved in a robbery.
The shooting happened Thursday night in Brinkman's Marina near the ferry building.
Officers said they saw Dvondre Woodards of Vallejo running from the Marin Market toward a waiting car with two other people inside. Officers suspected a robbery had just taken place and tried to pull the car over.
Police said the car slowed down and Woodwards got out and pointed a gun at officers. Officers then shot him.
Woodards is in a hospital in stable condition.
The car woodards was in sped away.
