President Barack Obama is spending the rest of this week promoting investments to help the middle class, raising money for fellow Democrats, talking healthcare reform, and engaging in diplomacy with China's new president.
Obama visited a middle school in Mooresville, N.C., just north of Charlotte, on Thursday to promote its digital learning curriculum.
It's the latest in a series of stops around the country by Obama to highlight investments he says will help the economy by expanding the middle class.
The president will be in the Bay Area Thursday night headlining a pair of fundraisers in San Jose for Democratic Senate candidates.
On Friday, he's scheduled to discuss what his health care law means for Californians during a speech in downtown San Jose. He is likely to highlight California as proof Obamacare will work.

After that he will fly to Los Angeles for more fundraising before going to Rancho Mirage for two days of talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
