The force was not with George Lucas on this one.
The leaders of San Francisco's Presidio has asked for a redo of all proposals for a cultural center there, including the idea proposed by the Star Wars creator.
The Presidio Trust Board received three proposals for an installation near Crissy Field -- and asked the creators to redo all three, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
Lucas's plan for a 65-foot tall, 93,000-square foot-large Beaux Arts-style "Cultural Arts Museum" was "too big," for the space, according the the board.
Lucas is looking for a place to display his collection of Norman Rockwell paintings and Star Wars memorabilia.
He's got the backing of heavy-hitters like Sen. Dianne Feinstein -- and has threatened to move the project to Chicago if the Presidio says no, the newspaper reported.
The new proposals are due Jan. 3.
