The San Francisco SPCA is looking to fuel potential pet adoptions with the help of some noodles and ink.
Friday's "Popular" pet adoption event at the Alabama Street facility is a self-proclaimed "ode to hipness." A fictional character called "Kitty Ramenstache" was created to promote the day, which will feature Japanese ramen by Namu Street Food, a station dispensing temporary tattoos, cocktails, a DJ and a photobooth.
Adoptions are free for those who qualify to give a pet a stable home.
The organization is out of space for free RSVPs on Eventbrite, but it's not too late to RSVP with a donation.
