Lawrence Ferlinghetti plans to release four books this year at the youthful age of 96.

According to NPR, the iconic San Francisco poet and co-owner of City Lights Books will publish the 60th anniversary edition of City Lights Pocket Poets Anthology, a collection of his personal travel journals and a book of letters he exchanged with Beat poet Allen Ginsburg, all in 2015.

But wait, there's more: Ferlinghetti's page on the City Lights website adds that a restored edition of Ferlinghetti's first book of poetry "Pictures of the Gone World" will also come out this year.

Ferlinghetti revealed to Morning Edition that one of his most intriguing-sounding ideas is a "stream of consciousness novel" that may never see the light of day.

"It's an endless novel and may never be finished," he said.
