Have your drink -- and make it a tax-exempt donation to a charitable nonprofit, too.
A group called "United Libations" is attempting to make San Francisco the first California city to boast a "nonprofit bar," according to reports.
Founder Nishi Boppana explains the concept: "we all spend money at the bar, so let's direct that money" to charity, the Huffington Post reported.
There's already such a watering hole in Washington, D.C.: Cause, in the U Streeet Corridor, is a "philanthropub," according to reports.
United Libations has begun an Indiegogo.com campaign to raise funds "before we sign a lease" and has setup a drinking/donating schedule.
They've also made public their first two charity campaigns: English classes in Haiti and a rainwater collection system in Uganda.
