SJ Man, 23, Arrested for DUI in Fatal Rollover

The California Highway Patrol arrested a 23-year-old San Jose driver of a 2003 Honda Civic in connection with driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter after a passenger in his car died late Tuesday night.

The CHP report show that Henry Lee was taken into custody following the 10:40 p.m. crash on northbound Interstate 880 on the Bascom Avenue off-ramp.

Lee was reportedly driving at an "excessive rate of speed" when he collided with a concrete rail located on the left side of the offramp, according to the CHP report. The Honda overturned three times onto north Bascom Avenue and collided with a second concrete rail.

The passenger, a man whose name and age was not released, died at the scene.

Lee suffered minor injuries.
