A person was taken into police custody late Monday following an eight-hour standoff in Santa Clara.
Police said the person was wanted as part of an investigation into a domestic dispute.
Officers, including an armored rescue vehicle, responded to the investigation at around 3:35 p.m. on the 1400 block of Agnew Road, near the Rivermark community.
Residents were told to avoid the area during the investigation.

The person was taken into police custody at 11:45 p.m.
