A Sunnyvale neighborhood was on lockdown for hours Tuesday as police swarmed the area to investigate a possible assault.
The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. in the area of Blazingwood Drive and Fairwood Avenue, just east of the Lawrence Expressway.
Police said officers went to a home to investigate a possible assault and initially had trouble contacting the alleged suspect.
After speaking to the person, officers determined there was no further need for immediate police action or intervention.

The streets were back open to the public around 10 p.m.
