A two-alarm grass fire created plumes of smoke on Ice House Hill in Brisbane Friday afternoon.
Fire crews were able to contain the fire but asked residents to avoid Bayshore Boulevard between Valley Drive and Guadalupe Canyon Parkway for a couple of hours.
No additional information was immediately available.
