After years of endless calls, emails, tweets and Facebook posts about fanatics longing for a box of Lucky Charms with only the "magically-delicious" marshmallows, General Mills is giving in.
"Share a photo of yourself holding an imaginary box of Lucky Charms on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram between October 14 and 18 using #Lucky10Sweepstakes,” the brand's blogger wrote.
Biz Markie helped promote the marshmallow madness by rapping the sweepstakes' instructions in a remix of his song "Just a Friend."

"Marshmallow only," Markie raps in the video. "The best part of the cereal. In your heart you know it's really oh."
Fans can share a photo of themselves on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram until Oct. 18 with the hashtag #Lucky10Sweepstakes.
This isn't the first time big business turned to social media to promote exclusive items. In September, Starbucks pumpkin spice latte lovers were able to use a "fan pass" with a secret password to obtain the autumnal drink before its release date.
